I just noticed that it's been added that this event is over 18s only. It didnt say it originally on the site and it doesnt say it on the ticket. You see I bought one for my younger brother who has never seen Foy due to all his gigs being over 18s. Do you reckon I stand a chance of getting him in seeing as I'm over 18 and with him? Also, if it doesnt say it on the ticket surely they can't not let him in? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd just like to say that as one of the two photographers who shot at the last Spring and Airbrake performance, that anyone who misses this gig will be in debt to their own humanity for a long time for missing such a life perspective changing aural phenomenon. (being in that this level of musicianship and lyrical ability is completely inexplicable!!!) As a songwriter, christian and musician writing songs from similar thoughts, I seriously can not recommend this experience highly enough. If Magic was indeed real, and not the mere project of fantasy.... when you witness Foy live and in person.... something changes... a switch flicks on and you all of a sudden are electric like you have never felt before, a soul inside you that you never heard before speaks to you and tells you this is real, this is real life and this is the moment that you think it is. I promise you will cling to every second that passes by wishing that time would just stand still and that you could stay there forever. The man himself, I experienced backstage at summer madness, and such a man I have never experienced. A prankster with his trunks half shown one second and an absolute gentleman who insisted I took the doorway before he, excusing himself as I passed. Who in his world does this? I say God bless you Foy Vance, for you are a man with a message, and a voice with such soul that its puts the angels themselves on edge. JW

Book your tickets through the Belfast Welcome Centre Website, seems to work that way!

I am so excited about this show tonight! Its my birthday and I cant think of a more perfect way to spend it than to listen to Foy with a pint of guinness (happy bday arthur)!! :)

Wow. What a gig Foy. Best version of Never Let The Spirit Die ever! Also, Big John was amazing. Cant believe you played it! I love the unreleased album! Im proud to be one of the 1% there to have known it

Brilliant gig. How one man can hold an audience for such a long time and take requests! Amazing. How the flip is he not the biggest thing on any bill?

Was very disappointed that Foy's performance didn't start til really late. Many of us who'd travelled long distances couldn't stay til end (12.15 apparently). Have a bit more respect for your audience and those of us using babysitters. Hated having to leave when Foy was on form and clearly enjoying himself. Also skip the politician bashing. Much better to encourage us to engage and make a difference! Northern Ireland has come through a very dark time and it will take more than Bob Marley (unfortunately) to solve some of our problems.

What a brilliant night. Loved the whole thing! Especially the politician bashing, the fantastic rendition of Bob Marley, and the fact that Foy didnt come on until just after 10pm(Whats so unusual about that?!?) Keep it up Foy - it was a pleasure being at your gig!
