Foy has been asked by Gary Lightbuddy to be part of the Lo-Fi Snow Patrol Tour, where the boys will be doing alternative versions of their music to date, and also showcasing the music of other chosen artists.

Wow Foy. Just wow. No words can really describe it otherwise. With one song you held the attention span of the crowd. Cudda heard a pin drop. Every time you play you are so diverse and tonight was no exception, harps and piano and horns really lifted the song. Would love to see you do a full headline gig in the Waterfront with that type of band backing you. Well done!

OMG saw Foy last night at Waterfront with SnowPatrol. Absolutly amazing what an artist. I have now become a fan. His performance brought tears to my eyes.

I'll be honest....I hadn't heard of Foy before he sang at Snow patrol's concert - I am now a fan! What a fantastic voice and song. Is there an album?

I didn't know Foy was going to turn up at the SP gig, a friend of mine text me the day before saying 'do you think Bono will turn up to guest on the last show?' to which I replied, 'I doubt it but with any luck we'll get Foy Vance and Duke Special!' and bloody both turned up :) I actually cried with happiness, my 3 fave bands all sharing the same stage, just bliss x
