I was driving home from Liverpool on saturday night and heard you on the Bob Harris slot on Radio 2 with Gideon Coe...at that point I hadn't heard of you at all. I was blown away by your voice and your songs - absolutely brilliant and inspiring....i've even gone out and bought a loop station!
I checked out your website the next day to find you are playing the Cavern on Tuesday - I'm there!!! Tickets booked.
I've played there with my band (The Black Jackals) 4 times now I think it is and I love the place (especially cause I grew up listening to the beatles and McCartney).
Very much looking forward to the gig and getting my hands on a copy of 'Hope' if you have them for sale with you.
Will 'Back in Black' be in the set?...

Foy,
What can I say... We saw you in Liverpool last night. You were an absolute phenomenon. So many highlights, 2 Shades of Hope as whenever I hear it, ripped me to pieces. Was thinking you should be packing out massive venues but part of me was secretely glad you were doing smaller more intimate venues...for now.
Sorry we didn't get chance to stay around after to say hello, make sure you get yourself back again soon and keep being inspired ;)

Hope is a masterpiece, you obviously sleep with the Muse. It's rare nowadays that live performance exceeds expectation. I bought you a pint (and now feel privileged ). My brother and I searched for superlatives to describe your performance. In the end we decided on the ultimate accolade it was the "DB"....Hope to see you again...Kevin
