Free Tickets for the O2 gig
Friday, 06 July 2007
well hey there... do you come here often? If so then you're in for a chance at some free tickets for my show on Saturday at the IndigO2 in the Dome, Greenwich.
I know it's late notice (hence why you probably need to be a regular visitor), so apologies for that. You'll need to be quick off the mark as I'll need names before the show tomorrow... I hope I haven't left it too late for you...
I'm giving away two pairs of tickets, I could probably give away more but I'm too tight...
So here's what you gotta do:
Simply add a comment to this site explaining why you should get them. Fantasy is very welcomed, in the words of Billy Connolly "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story".
There you go cubs, that's it... get typing!!!
Thanks to those of you who have been out there consuming hope... I really appreciate your support and you comments and emails.
I know some stores have sold out (which has got to be a good thing right?) but remember, you can get them to order it back in for you, (which spreads wurdamouth and in turn helps me).

I'm working on a series of podcasts and various other bits and bobs which I'll keep you posted on. Some very exciting, but I best not say anything yet...
Speak soon...x

Billy Pye replied about 4 hours after.Hi Foy,
Well, it looks as though I get first stab but, unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to make the gig anyway :-( I first became aware of you when I went to see Bonnie Raitt at the Glasgow Concert Hall (Armadillo). I hadn't heard of you, but was totally blown away with your set, and I especially loved your cover of Cross Town Traffic - I'm a big Hendrix fan, y'see!
Since then, I've been monitoring the "airwaves" and surfing the net for any sign of an album release, and - hey presto - I land on your website last night to find that your debut has hit the shops. Living here, out in the sticks of Lincolnshire, I'm assuming it's unlikely that you'll ever appear in this neck of the woods. That said, I'm a Glasgow boy, so if there were any tickets for your next gig there......
Anyway, congratulations on the album release (I ordered mine from Amazon, express delivery -- an extra 7 quid!!)
billy pye replied about 22 hours after.Hi Foy,
The album arrived today and, and as expected, it's superb. Altough, opening the the cover to find a painting of a pre-pubescent wullie was a bit unsettling! The cd packers obviously have a sense of humour!
Anna replied 1 day after.Myself and one legged blind friend have been walking now for sixteen days through storms and sunshine to get to this greenwich gig. We have been shot twice and my friend distubingly discovered they had an extremely odd battered mars bar fetish. We very nearly didnt make it - touch and go!!!! we reached our desination with only a small quantity of pretty low grade coco powder to spare only to discover the that the tickets were still in the trousers we pawned outside a Guildford chippy... Shall we walk home
Anna replied 1 day after.sorry-someone sabotaged my entry before I could catch them -this is my real email address! -sau00ajb@yahoo.co.uk -did I mention its sau00ajb@yahoo.co.uk?? eagerly awaiting tickets now -I will not be moving from this spot all day -u have plenty of time...
Steve Jones replied 1 day after.I hope you gave Anna a ticket. That's a great story. x raff in Dublin
