hey

it's 01:16 and time for bed but I wanted to leave a quick post before heading off.

I've added some new dates to the diary, namely Belfast 21st July and a month of Tuesdays in London in July.  See TOUR for full details.

On another note I have a friend called Steve Jones who is about to release an album/series of work, that will be available from his website (check link).  YOU HAVE TO GET IT!!!!  I would say ' you have to buy it' but at the minute he plans to give it away, which is an indiscriminate act of kindness as it's a work of art... simply wonderful! and I've only heard parts of it.

This is not the point though... the point of mentioning Steve is to say that he always posts blogs about food like it's the finest art available and as much as I love to read these, I've never been inspired to write such a blog... until now.

We've just had a couple of friends round for dinner (Roly & Paula) and Joanne has just made thee most amazing meal.  A real Tapas vibe.  Aubergine bake, Halloumi salad, capers, olives and a salad made with couscous and mint, I think it has a proper name but I can't remember it.  It was just amazing.  The icing on the cake was when she produced the baked passion fruit cheese cake.... baked, no less!  SENSATIONAL!

Well done Joanne.  Must be said that the cream on the cake of the night was Roly and Paula, I haven't laughed that much in a long time, well done guys... nothing quite like food friends and a good feed of wine ...
