Grey's Anatomy

Well it would seem that one slipped under the net... My song Homebird was on Sunday night's show and I didn't see it myself let alone tell anybody about it. It's always my plan to keep you updated with such things but my head's all over the show at the minute. Gabriel and the vagabond was another song picked up by Grey's and it's on one of the next few shows, I'll post details when I know for sure.I'm beavering away in my wee studio in Greenwich, fondly referred to as 'Wurdamouth South', which is where I'll be heading right after this post. This whole 'recording a debut album' business is a right oul malarky... it's all consuming!!! I do my best to scrape myself off it every now and then, and I'll be in the middle of holding down a regular conversation when I'll be overcome with a desire to change something, or more to the point record something new. I am officially a pain in my arse. Having said that I'm really happy with how it's sounding, in that it sounds like me.
One of the songs that'll be going on the album is a very new one that we recorded as a bit of fun. After a days hard work, we lit the fire, opened a bottle of wine, lit some candles and threw some mics around the room (we actually put a mic on the fire) and recorded ourselves singing everything from old Irish tunes and hymns, to Christmas carols and long forgotten songs from the 70's... amongst this lot, we recorded this new song, and it came out great...it's as rough as a badgers hoop and you can hear the fire crackling but it completely captured the soul and sentiment of the piece... you gatta love it when that happens...
Right, I'm off to Wurdamouth South, speak later...x

emma replied about 10 hours after. What series/ episode was it on Foy?
Sue replied 1 day after.Grey's is on here, in America on thursday and friday nights....it was a re-cap special; a show highlighting episodes from the past season.
They ended the show with someone named Brandi's video....It would have been more exciting if it was your video, of course. But, I do appreciate Grey's producers for being, what I call, "pro music". Meaning they care enough to scout the indie scene for "real" music, and not relying on pop, that is really just marketed junk created for the masses....oops, didn't mean to get so political....
We are looking forward to your new cd release, Foy!
As always, the best to you and yours!
