New London date added...this Sunday!!!
Thursday, 04 October 2007
Sorry about the late notice on this one. It's actually been in the diary for a bit, it's just difficult to get the time to update the site these days... All this 'homegrown' and 'DIY' approach is very fulfilling, but also very time consuming...So the gig is just off Brick Lane in East London, a place called Café Suki. It's run by a group of people calling themselves kindred spirits who run another R&B night in East London, which a friend did a while back and hasn't stopped talking about it, so I'm looking forward to it.... hope to see you there...
I'm well aware that you're due an updates on the prison gigs, but.... It's hard to know exactly what I think just yet. When I write something in my personal diary I can feel very different the next day and have changed my mind on all that I wrote... but to start firing out random thoughts on such a touchy subject is not the best thing to do online I don't think...? Maybe it is, who knows?
Even if I had something to say, I don't have the time to get into it now.. the cows need milked, the grass needs cut, there isn't a wee'n fed in the house and the President of Botswana's on the phone... must dash...

Cathy Kenlin replied 2 days after.Hi, Foy
I met you with my cousin Heather at Joe's Pub last year. Am looking forward to a possible Barnes & Noble event when you come to the States and will be checking out your other gigs in the States.
Can totally relate to your GPS story in a previous blog posting! My GPS voice is Tim from the UK and he was very unhappy with me the other day. I made the mistake of following some directions from the waiter in the restaurant rather than taking the route Tim wanted me to take. I was expecting him to start swearing at me any minute.
Love the new album. Have listened to it three times since I got it yesterday.

Big Niall replied 29 days after. You boy!!! Yes you!! One with little folicles and big talent. Expecting personal welcome at Mandela. Nothing less will do - well maybe a snog with J. ( I can almost feel her wince!!)
Love the album - rootsy and bare but melody exudes throughout. Lovely combo.
Love to hear from you bro,
Niall
